Join us for our Serving or Served Community Walk, created to provide a non-judgmental space for police, fire, ambulance, military, and veterans from all services to walk and talk.

This walk aims to build a strong community where individuals can find belonging and space to share stories, discuss concerns, and know you're not alone. We believe in the power of community to lift morale, offer mutual support, and create a sense of normality away from daily worries.
The Importance of Community
From our experience, community support is crucial. Park meet-ups and casual gatherings have always allowed people to connect, talk openly, and provide a break from their stresses. Watching people close to us face the challenges of the global pandemic and their daily duties inspired us to create this space in Nottinghamshire for our emergency services, military, veterans, and NHS communities.

These walks are community-driven. Every participant's voice is heard and valued.
A space to share experiences, seek advice and offer support in a non-judgmental environment.
While RTSC facilitates the event, the community owns and shapes the walk, ensuring inclusivity.

Walk Dates & Information
We have listed our monthly walks below so you can plan. Please register your interest by completing the form below. We can keep you updated with information for your walk.
Our first walk is on February 22nd, Watchwood Trail. The Start time is 10:00 a.m., and the parking location is Gravelly Hollow Road. This walk is 4 miles.
March 29th Harley Art Trail Welbeck Estate—Start time: 10 a.m. Parking is at Welbeck Garden Centre. This walk is 3 miles.
Our April Walk is on the 26th at Brierley Park Huthwaite. The start time is 10:00 a.m. Parking is available at Brierley Park. This walk is 3.5 miles.
May 17th South Tunnel Lodge Trail Welbeck Estate – Start time 10.00 a.m. Parking at Welbeck Garden Centre. This walk is 4.2 miles.
June 14th Burton Joyce Riverside Walk—Start time: 10 a.m. Parking is off Stoke Lane. This walk is approximately 2 miles.
July 12th: Capturing the Beauty of Clumber Park—Start time: 10:00 a.m. Parking at Clumber Park (please note there will be a charge to enter Clumber Park). This walk is 5.5 miles.
September 6th- Cuckney Water Meadows- Start time 10.00 a.m. Parking at Welbeck Garden Centre. This walk is 6.28 miles.
Next is October 11th, Thoresby Park Estate—Start time: 10 a.m. Parking is at Thoresby Park (please note that there will be a parking charge). This walk is 3 miles.
November 8th Gedling Country Park-Start time 10.00 a.m. Parking at Spring Lane Entrance. This walk will be circa 3 miles.
Our last walk for 2025 will be December 6th: Sherwood Pines Christmas Walk—Start time: 10 a.m. Parking is at Sherwood Pines (please note there will be a parking charge). This walk will be approximately 3 miles, and fancy dress is optional.
