Here's an interesting thought for a Monday morning ...

If you have remote staff, how do you make them feel part of the team?

How do you ensure that remote workers are listened to properly?

Working remotely is nothing new.

Of course, there are people who are working from home, whether that is just for a day or two a week, or for the whole time.

But there are companies who have always had people working remotely, such as engineers or sales teams.

Listening to remote workers is just as essential as listening to those who are in the office day in day out.

However, the situation may need monitoring more, as remote workers might feel a disconnect with the team.

This is where robust systems and processes must be put in place, such as regular calls or online meeting spaces.

And these should be restricted to talking about wellbeing and support, and allow people to raise concerns.

If this is something you need to do but are not sure how to implement, then get in touch with our Annette Clay.

Annette is an expert in these matters, and works with a number of organisations to help them listen properly to staff (whether they work in the office or remotely).
